My first new tractor I bought was new oliver 66 Diesel. Boy what a ringer. The Crankshaft kept breaking. Finally I wrote a leetter to the prwident of Oliver. On day the Block man drove in the yard and said a truck is coming and your tractor is going to the factory and ther will be no charge. It ended up that the main bore was out of line so the crank was flexing so it would brake every so many hours. I found out later it was one of group of tractor that had been parked in vacant lots over Halloween and kids had stared them and ran them till they stopped Oliver had torn them down half-way fixed them an shipped them. It was a battle that I won and the last tractor I owned was a Oliver 1850 Oliver rir me alright. gitrib
