Went by some large daries today. They had cut small grain, wheat and oats in the dough stage, for silage. Some had gone back and plowed and planted row crops, presumeably corn which was not up, no rain on the planting. One field had corn up 4 inches, they must have planted it 2 weeks ago like I did in the garden. We are not overly wet. Rain possibility Friday night. This is in Weaster SC.
