If he's too stupid to buy the correct plates he needs then that's he own stupid fault.... If your brother doesn't know that he isn't much better. As to the suggestion others have made of you buying plates for him... WHY? A plate is only as good as the seed it's matched to. You don't know the seed size; can't know which plate is required.... so you're only tossing money down the tube buying plates at random.
I'm fortunate that I don't go to church so I don't need to worry about having this on my concience when I say this.... You sold him the damn thing AS IS with the additional warning that he needed plates. He got as much or more than he paid for. I wouldn't worry about him or the brother.
