In 1987 a friend of mine was stopped at a red light and a cop came around him on the right and ran the red full blast....50MPH. The cop T-boned another car which had 2 women in it. Both women were killed instantly. In fact the impact of the crash slammed the car 50feet up the road and their bodies were thrown 200 feet up the road and their blood was running down the road into the gutter. Not wearing their seatbelts I guess. My friend who is now 50 years old says he will never forget that accident or the day.....6-21-1987. The cop was aquitted of all wrong doing. Walked away without even jail time or loss of job. -----Real Sad.
There my friends is a very good reason not to run red lights. (cause somebody might be using the green)
