I have had the same insuance for twenty plus years. In all that time three claims. $1800 theft, $2300 oldest kid car accident, and $80,000 middle kid truck accident w/injury. I was sure the $80,000 one was going to be the end of it. To my suprise it wasn't. The Agent made the comment that they favor a ratio system. I.e.. to many and you go. He also said any company that will drop y'a over "one" claim isn't worth having because they will not be there when you need them. I insure everything with them now.
I wouldn't sweat it. They are on the hook for it and if they do drop y'a, they were not worth having.
As far as filing go's. Call them, tell them what happened and let the Building owner know who to call about getting it paid. If anythig is required they will tell y'a.
