Got the old M running after we bored it and changed the head. Ran her a while but at low rpm's and didn't have that big of a problem with it heating up very quick. Well, the other day went to take her to town to fill her up with gas, and didn't driver her 2 mile at 1/2 rpm's, and she had heated up already. It had it's thermostat removed when we first got it about4 1/2 years ago and never had a problem. Just had the radiator cleaned before we did the extensive motor work to her. The entire motor and head were cleaned and redone. It is full of water in the radiator, and when I take the heat gauge out water will come out, but it really comes out w/o the rad. cap on it. Removed the bottom drain of the rad. and the water jacket drain and water comes out normally. Could it be a collasped hose? She sure has me stumped. Any help is greatly appreciated!!
