Hi Paul: You didn’t mention engine make nor whether it was gas or diesel. We’ve got a 272 Leland down in the barn I weekly grind feed with. It has a four cylinder Perkins. Perkins engines are widely used with a sound reputation. We’re using three 1850 Oliver’s Perkins powered manufactured during the 60’s. Parts have been easy to get for all these babies, if not through the dealer, through outside sources. Suggest you check with a progressive starter-generator repair or rebuilding shop. I’m reasonably sure these engines have seen service in several other agricultural applications. Good luck. Fernan
