Why not cars with fueling from either (both) sides? Why not cars with clocks that set themselves (atomic) so you would never have to fiddle with the buttons at daylight savings time changes or battery reconnects. Why not cars with generous sized rear view mirrors. to hell with the stylists? Make it a law and let ugly be dammed. Why not every car's headlights on whenever the engine is running? No more hiding to avoid bushwhacking.....but highly visible all the time? Why not low engine oil warnings like low fuel warnings? Why not flashing rear edge door lights to warn others that the door is open, maybe someone able to step out into your path. There are plenty of wires going to the door anyway and dome light switches to detect open doors, could be used for double duty.
We now have compasses, outside temperature indicators, vehicle locaters, and many other pricey gadgets the rich among us can afford, why not the handy, the obvious (to me!) What's your request for standard equip? Leo
