I dont know beans about a 444, but Ive NEVER heard or believe theres a system that turns off an electric fuel pump when a carb bowl is full!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! An electric fuel pump might cycle n shut off upon a certain pressure, but float bowl level I dont think soooooo. I bet the shut off Gerald n Bob M are talking about is whats going on. John T
