I have a IH 444, its a good strong old tractor regardless of the years of abuse from no prevenative maintenance. The problem is it has a marvel schriver carberator on it and in top of the carb has a solenoind screwed into it. I have been told that this is solenoid that tells the electric fuel pump to shut off when the carb bowl is full. I have sent the carb to the local shop to have it rebuilt and ordered a new solenoid, now for the problem the old solenoid wire was cut off, it only had one wire running from it, I assume to the electric fuel pump. If anyone has any iformation on how to re-wire this crazy thing and how to adjust the shut off solenoid, which appears to have a adjustment screw in the top of it> The information is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
