Since an earlier posted discussed the age of his haying equipment I thought I'd put mine on here and see if anyone can beat it. I'm doing about 1500 bales per year with the following:
Cutting - 1955 300U with 469 haybine. Not sure of age of the haybine - late 60's?
Tedder - bought a new one 10 years ago - only new piece I will ever own
Raking - 38 F14 on a IH 3 bar steel wheel rake, 43 H on either a 4 bar NI rake on steel or same rake on rubber. Not sure of age on any of the rakes bit I think both NI rakes are 60's or older.
Baling - 43 M on model 46 baler. Baler is early 60's.
Wagons - 3 electric wagons I think all from the 50's.
Own - 57 years old - only thing that breaks down much.
A lot of old equipment is pretty reliable if you keep on top of it.
