What's the secret to getting one of these much-vaunted Stihl dealers to pay attention to a new customer?
Too many times I've walked into a Stihl dealer to have the old phart behind the counter glare at me from over his newspaper, another old guy asleep on a stool in the corner. Walk around, not a word. Stand at the counter, not even a flinch.
Walked in one when I was back home a couple years ago with every intention to buy two saws... Told the guy I wanted a top handle and a normal in about a farmboss size..... Guy asked for my credit card up front. Gave him that look and he said he wasn't gonna spend the time talking about them if I didn't have the money to buy them....... told him he could shove them and his shop up his _________ nose  and left.... Makes it hard to feel sorry for the little guy.....
