One well known company puts some poor potatoes into their chips.Full of holes.I doubt they are that fussy.A Maine potato inspector told me that he liked Maine potatoes or those from the eastern shore.I will put a Maine grown Kennebec against any Idaho Russet or CA white. As far as I know Orida sells frozen potatoes.I dont use frozen potatoes. If I run out I buy Katahdins from a small local grower.I dont need thousands of dollars worth of equipment to plant my potatoes.I use a warren hoe, a 20 year old tiller and a potato digger I paid 4 bucks for..I dont compete with big growers.Your claim that only big growers can produce potatoes is pure BS.
