Im a confirmed Merle Haggard, Eddie Arnold, Mel Tillis, Buck Owens, Foggy Mountain Boys kind of guy. (Which is a bit odd since Im young for that demographic)...but I enjoy that "Old timey music" as they so put it in the movie O Brother Where Art Thou.
Well my brother in law dragged me off the farm yesterday since I was so tuckered out prayin for rain and took me over to Milwaukee for Summerfest.
As a died in the wool country guy, please dont overlook the rock n roll. We saw Iron Maiden play and they just blew this country kid away! Those Brits know how to run a guitar. Oh man...and with 95° degree weather the girls werent hardly wearing anything. It was worth the admission at twice the price.
