A week or so ago, Chief mentioned that he went to some show that he didn't care much for, to see some guy sing that didn't impress him a lot. At least, that's what I got out of it, and agree with him. I posted a link to a duet by George Strait and Alan Jackson called "Murder On Music Row", where these days, the very fellas that you mentioned that helped build the very foundation of Nashville, including Merle, named in the song, could not and would not be allowed to sing by the big cheeses that run and sold out Nashville. I admire George and Alan for having the guts to call a spade a spade, and call the spades out.
