Big Time Operator. Generally used as a derogatory term. Many smaller farmers have a phobia towards bigger farmers, not unlike the current hatred Americans seem to be showing towards successful business people. Painting people in broad strokes as wrong in the way the conduct business exclusively based on their level of success speaks for itself. Jealousy often makes people say and do the very things they critisize.
