Well think about it. Those brown eggs you got where maybe a week old if even that. The ones you buy in the store are at least 6 months old if not closer to a year. I know this because I worked in an egg farm when I was a kid and it took them 2-3 months to get a truck load and so then the eggs where 2-3 months old before they go to a ware house to be sorted and then sit in that ware house who knows how long before going to a store to be sold
