Goose, Are your new windows argon filled?; were the old ones also argon filled? If the old ones were fogging up they must have lost the gas. In any event, I think the biggest thing you are going to see is a reduction in fuel consumption. When I had my house built 16 years ago, I had Anderson Argon filled windows installed throughout including the French doors to the deck. It is amazing how relatively warm the inside pane is no matter how cold it is outside. I think there are now even triple pane windows available.
