They're spelling and conveying thoughts, only it's not the way we learned it. I was thinking about that the other day and actually their way is simpler than the way we were taught. We have multiple and sometimes confusing ways to spell one word, like there, their, bale, bail plus many more. Why not simplify things?
I pride myself in being able to spell the way I was taught in school back in the day, and I will never change, but maybe a simpler way of spelling isn't all that bad for future generations. With our multi-national communications today will every nation be speaking the same language some day? I know it won't be the American English as we know it today. Jim
