I have a salamander heater that uses kerosene. I hadn't needed it for several years, until this last real cold snap. when I went to town to fill the 2 5 gallon cans that I use, I was reminded that I have to sign name and address to buy it. WHY? do states other than ny require the same thing? I didn't think kero is a bomb ingredient or anything. just another of life's annoyances.
