I don't think it has much to do with what one is accustomed to... The main reason I don't visit a LOT of other sites is because of the ninny software they use where you can't keep track of anything. You don't go to the library and pull a book off the shelf, walk around the building and stick it back on a shelf somewhere else because you felt like it... you put it back where it was... or leave it so someone competent can put it back where it belongs. I have absolutely no use for these forum softwares that use a floating index. You may have gotten used to it... just like there's some people that get used to third world tractors... but I have no use for it. If I read 10% of what's posted on this forum daily... that's probably a good day. I just skip along following the color change on the hyperlinks... that's how I know what I've read and what is new. Very simple.
