I bought some several years ago and tried them several times. Still got them in my dresser. they felt good but my feet sweat easy and once they got wet I was in worse shape then before. So they didn't work that good for me. The batteries are on the sock itself so that wouldn't be what you want anyway or I'd send them to you. I am retired and never will use them. Actually a good pair of snowmobile boots "Sorrel" type will do a better job. I had a open front loader tractor and used it everyday feeding cattle, pushing snow around etc. The worst was having the cold steel under me feet. With Sorrels they had so much felt they kept the cold away and if you switched liners your feet would stay dry and warm.
