Hay Maker if you have been using that JD haybine and doing OK then you do not need a discbine. First, the JD 1209 is one of the worst haybines made and was never very popular. I would suggest that you look at a good used New Holland haybine. Of course the good ones are not cheap but they can cut fast and clean and last a long time. Break the cutter bar on any discbine and you are looking at a minimum of $6500 to replace. Just saying...
