On removing the bracket they warn you about that in the instructions. Actually don't need it till you're ready to hook onto something else.
They caution you on that too and suggest you get a longer 3rd member. I have one already and if too short, I'll just cut it in half, lengthen with a couple of pieces of angle iron and be about my business..
On the varying dimention between lift pins, if you happened across my first post a few days ago on that subject, that's why I cancelled the order for another brand with a fixed dimension for $90 and bought Pat's for $190. Butttt Pat's is more functional and I think I will like them better in the long run.
I guarantee you, anything will be better than having to do what I currently have to do on these tractors. My Branson with all it's whistles and bells spoiled me.
