I recently wound up with a early 70's model C-60 dump truck that is in fair overall condition, it runs strong and the hoist and wet kit are strong, it is a real dump truck, not a grain bed dump and has a single tag axle mounted forward of the tandem drive axle. Cab is pretty good and transmission smooth shifting, 2 speed axle shifts good, good tires and brakes, seat is trash and dash is pitiful, windows both roll up and down and no glass is busted. The dump box is in good shape and the gate opens and closes properly, I did not get the size of the box but it is 10 feet long and 48 inches deep by 98 inches wide so probably 6 yards. I am going to take the seat to an old man I know who does that work and probably order a dash online, then I will put a new exhaust under it and put it for sale or maybe use it for a while if the insurance is not ridiculous, anybody have an idea what these old trucks are bringing?
