I was out at the tractor shed this morning. I was trying to get the battery charger on my Oliver 66, and something hit me on the side of the head. Upon further inspection, I noticed it was a Japanese hornet going into a vacant birdhouse. What can I use to kill them. If I use the over the counter wasp and hornet spray, they just land and wipe it off and keep going. Yes, I know that fire would be best, but this is on the side of the tractor shed. Also, when is the best time to spray/kill them? I know they fly at night. The best time I can think of is while it is raining. If they're anything like honey bees, probably 90% will be on the nest at that time. Thanks for the help, Todd.
