Just over a week ago,I was watching TV over the antenna. The picture locked up,didn't pixilate, just went to a still picture. I left it for a few minutes,it didn't come back. I changed the channel, nothing there either. I went from 29 channels to 13. I rescanned, only got 13. I knew there was some solar activity so I chalked it up to that. The TV in the bedroom was coming in halfway decent though and it comes off the same antenna with a co-ax splitter. I put new ends on the co-ax to the TV in the living room earlier in the week, rescanned,no difference. It doesn't matter if the booster is hooked up,plugged in,unplugged, unhooked, just the same 13 channels.
I hadn't fooled with it for a few days, just used the dish. Just before supper,I scanned again, got 48 channels! Great, got channels I wanted but never got before. I left it on,went out to check cows, came back in,the TV had turned itself off. I turned it back on,all I'm getting are those 13 channels. It about has to be something internal doesn't it? It's a Westinghouse, new at Christmas time. Can't believe anymore that the trouble is in the antenna.

Today's Featured Article - Box Plow Blues - by Tom Schwarz. One of the first implements most tractor owners obtain is the box plow. For very little money, this piece of equipment promises to plow and flatten any hill or vale on your ranch road or farm. At least that's what I thought! As simple as a box plow appears, it can be rather challenging to make work correctly. In our sandy soils of Florida, traction is king. You can never have wide enough tires or heavy enough weights to get all the traction you want … unless you own a monster tractor. U
