At first, you said the same 13 channels only showed up with or without the booster then, you check again later and have 48 channels. Now, you come back and find you are back down to the 13 channels.
Possibly, maybe,could the power supply powering the booster or the booster itself be going bad?
"The TV in the bedroom comes in half way decent". Do you have a booster hooked to this TV or does one booster supply both ?
I don't know. Just a WAG!
