I'll add just a bit of a suggestion here..... IF the cluster is chipped or has a broken tooth, it could get to be an expensive repair. I might suggest that you start looking for a replacement or even a parts transmission before this one lets go. For some reason, it seems to be easier to find a transmission that you don't need than one that has the truck out of service.
