Growing up in the 1960's I loved to go the local hardware store that had been there for decades and see the same people who worked there year after year. Bought garden seeds, nails by the pound in paper bags. But by the 80's small towns where getting the life sucked out of them by the pull of the big cities. It is sad to see them in shambles now and vacant. There is no awareness in America to preserve the way of life that we worked for, and fought and died for. No dedication to where you came from.
