Yesterday morning at 6 AM I headed the Grand Prix Pontiac 130 miles west and north to Olpe,KS....The purpose was to attend the Flint Hills Antique Power Association plow day held 6 miles east of Olpe,KS..It was held in a large field nearly 1 mile long in the Eagle Creek bottoms...After a rain had cancelled it the week before the soil was in perfect condition for plowing....It was a beautiful sunny fall day with a temperature of around 60 degrees..Everyone was very friendly and I was invited to stay for dinner but had to leave as I had other places to go..It was lots of fun....Thanks guys...By the way they had a great Oliver dealer in nearby Emporia..One collector has 60 of them..They were going to pick some corn after dinner...When I left the next farm to the north had a G-706 MM FWA hooked on to a 4-5 bottom trail plow sitting in the yard..Next year I may haul one out and join them..
