Couple of comments. First thing, 'full synthetic' in the US is not really a synthetic oil. The base stock is a dino oil, comes right out of the ground, and it's hydro-cracked, and well refined then the additive package is blended. If you want an actual class IV real synthetic POE oil, you need to order it from Europe.
Next, Mobil 1 is not my personal choice of oils. They have caused millions of dollars in damage to aircraft engines with their attempt to market a syn oil to piston aircraft owners. I know, it cost me a $13,000 engine, and Mobil only paid for $2200 of it. Also plenty of info out there on Mobil 1 and viscosity issues on the track. Seems it doesn't like the viscosity modifiers that they started with, but maybe it's gotten better.
Finally, any of the 'synthetic' oils are better than the refined(class II) type oils because they use a better method of filtering, and combining base stocks to improve consistency. Also, you mat get a better additive package with the syn oils that will maintain viscosity over a longer time. I would say if you follow the drain intervals(most people don't) any of the other syn oils will be your best bet. I have a lot of cars, trucks, etc and I've decided on Castrol Syn-tec. Of course, it's not a class IV synthetic either, but it has been my choice for many years, and so far so good.
