If I recall the combine engines use TWO constant filter bleed fittings, lines then go to the top of two injector return banjo bolts. Tractor applications usually have just one bleed orifice. Remove the line on each one, work the hand primer and make sure the small orifice is open, not plugged. If both are open, but you have little or no return fuel back to the tank then there's a SUPPLY problem/restriction. Ran into that awhile back on the neighbor's White 2-85 when his engine operated supply pump died. There must be more fuel supplied TO the injection pump than engine needs to run, excess is used to lubricate and cool the pump. A correct working system will have at least a pencil lead stream back to the tank, and usually more than that. Also if NAPA/WIX filters are used MAKE SURE the filter top OUTER groove does NOT have an O ring in it, that's the filter inlet. These filters flow a bit different than the original 7111-296 and 796 filters do. I've lost count how many service calls made to correct that common mistake..
