I have the 7000/8750 model. Works fine. After I got it home new - I found out it was charging the starter-battery @ 16 volts. I called and complained and HF wanted me to bring it back to the store and swap for another. I said "no" since it was a 300 mile round trip. So they got me a new voltage regulator and sent it to me. It took four months. The rest of the generator was fine.
My only slight complaint is when all done - it was not all that cheap. I paid around $500 on-sale. Then paid extra for a wheel-kit. Then paid extra for a battery. Then paid extra for a propane conversion kit. When all done I had around $700 into it. Two weeks after I bought it - Amazon had a 6500 watt Pulsar for sale that came with wheels, a battery, and it was set up already for gas and propane. $475 shipped to my door with no tax. It was a fantastic deal. Never saw that offer again.

George bought his Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00. There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken by Harold alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that the major was produced late 19
