It sounds like a fuel system problem .Maybe it's starving for fuel or has water in the fuel, Float valve stuckclosed,clogged fuel filters,etc. After you get it runing see if it will stay running by spraying WD40 into the air intake. If it does you know it's not getting fuel for some reason. Gas engine love to run on WD40 and it's safer than playing with gasoline. : My gas ford 2000 isn't running all of a sudden. It started acting up this morning(I haven't used it for two weeks). It starta ok using full choke then beggins to misfire and after 5 to 10 seconds stalls out completely. The choke has no effect once it begins to go. It won't start right away but if I let it sit a while it will again repeat the start/stall problem. I have checked the plugs and it seems to be getting gas. At least it's getting to the carburator. Any thoughts?
