I have several old john deeres and don't get around to running them as often as i should. This is not good for several reasons, one of which is the auto gas gets old and varnish deposits in carb. I keep the tractors hangered at the airport with my airplane. Avgas doesn't get old as fast as auto gas. It also has a different vapor pressure and lead. Question, what disadvantages would running these old tractors with 100 octane low lead avgas be. Advantage: shelf life of gas would be extended for months.
