Good point, my numbers would of course give you an upper bound. However, the change in volume of the cylinder would be pretty minimal for small changes in crank angle. For a 15% change you would need to close the valves somewhere around 32 degrees ATDC. Hmm, might have to sit down and figure that out some day...
