Pretty sure everyone agrees someone was in there way before you ever bought it. Normally I'd say just changing bearings and make sure shims are kept the same you might be in good shape. But this is not normal ! Who knows what shims may of been removed before ? Some careful reading of any service info you can find and some measuring is in order. Should be some service info out there since that is the same one Jeeps use.
