I don't often give endorsements, but everybody has problems with ticks, and I found a product that works great. Looks like a plastic 1/2 teaspoon measuring spoon, but has a tapered slot in the front, and it takes ticks off, without leaving the head, legs, or anything behind, instantly. Its called tickedoff, and website is tickedoff dot com. Check at your local pet store. The tapered slot pushes the little bugger's legs and mouth parts together, which causes them to release, and you pull the whole tick off. Forget about burning them with a cigarette, or other methods, this really works, and immediately.
