That does not look like my 2140 starter. Numbers don't match up to any of my searches. I found one listed at A&I matching the original JD number. Original style Bosch starter at $349 before shipping. Have not checked with JD yet.
I'll concentrate on the starter before doing anything about a destroker. I know the starter is bad.
