Well, I ve determined its impossible to actually get to currently talk to anyone at the DMV in NY. Ive tried for 2 days every way I could find.
My problem is I bought a vehicle in Ohio and had It shipped to me in NY. I finally have the Ohio title listing me as the owner at my NY address. I cant figure out how to register it in NY. Ive been trying to do this for 2 months.
The web site says I need to fill out several forms and take them to their drop box and leave them. I wanted to try to get the forms right before I drop them off. One form they insist i fill out is DTF-802 for the purchase of the vehicle which was done in Ohio. Nothing on it pertains to my situation. Ive been trying to do this for 2 months.
