WHICH pump outlet delivers fuel when the pointer mark inside JUST passes the pointer? Trace that line to it's injector, then MAKE SURE that cylinder is on the compression stroke ready to fire. I don't see enough Deutz 8006/10006 Bosch VA pumps to recall which delivery valve outlet aligns with the cam plate mark inside. My guess is the actual timing is about 14-18 degrees BTDC, similar to the IH Neuss engines with Bosch VA pumps.
