Oh my goodness, thank you for so many great comments everyone! After 2 years of working to fix bits and pieces of the old gal myself (like the front hubs, foot pedal sleeving and new shaft), I finally opted to let my cousin get it across the finish line (he made much faster progress than I ever could have, and was able to do all the rear rim work and painting that I couldn't have done). Feels so weird to drive a feels like new again tractor. It looks so different sitting in the shed now.
Bob Bancroft -- Haha, yeah I wasn't feeling like springing for new rear rubber at this time. Hoping these tires last me another 10-15 years for how much use she gets, lol.
docmirror -- Where do you live?
flying belgian -- Yeah the old paint wasn't too bad, just some nasty spots where the radiator leaked and the battery box was gone and some other odds and ends.
NEKS -- Interestingly, I did pull off several other cultivator pieces before going down this road. Namely some pieces on the steering support and fenders.
Now I just need to decide what my plan is for fixing up the other late model WD! It has a snap coupler and original seat on it.

I was also embarking on planting 1000 eucalyptus trees, and hence I would need a ripper, small disk plow, sprayer etc. to get these things accompli
