Google will always show you the route it thinks is fastest.
Sometimes google will take you the most scenic route. One time it took us on the trail of tears. Another time a route to avoid an accident. Usually google will give us the fastest, then a few slower options.
If only google would give me an option to avoid Atlanta, Nashville and Birmingham.
