A late friend of mine claimed that when he took a two-year assignment in Saudi Arabia, he filled his pickup's engine with oil all the way to the filler on the valve cover. He said it smoked a lot when he started it up on his return, but it ran OK. George could do the same with his Jube, although he'd need to block off the oil filler and dipstick, then fill it through the breather on the valve cover.
