The only other comment i can add is, the bigger 2wd tractor will out last the compact in a hard work situation.
Compacts tractors will not take severe duty service like a full size tractor.
My expierence has been for loader work, or in mud/snow an AWD tractor will easily out work a 2WD tractor.
If you are going to work your tractor day in and day out, get a full size farm tractor, it's made to take the severe duty of farm life. This is one time the heavier tractor is better than the light one!
