OT 1997 F150 4.2 V-6

Sorry if any offense. My posts on the truck boards have no response. My work truck/parts chaser is 1977 GMC. Rust/wear/age have done it in. Saw ad for 1997 F150 with 4.2 V-6 automatic 2wd 104K miles for $6950. I have a nicer 4x4 for towing, this one is for driving when greasy/muddy, etc. Anyone have experience with this particular model and drivetrain? Will drive it about 4K per year.
