You didn't bother to tell us what tractor/loader you have, but I doubt it is necessary to remove either the loader or backhoe. Usually removing the hyd pump and its driveshaft allows access to the belt. Prop the loader up with heavy angle iron at the boom cylinders as a safety measure. Sectional belts are around, but may not last as long as the real deal.
