A farmer here in N Texas got swarmed by these bees while plowing and he had some outrageous number of stings. I cannot remember the numbr but over 100. He lived but was in poor shape for a while. I know that I am more careful now even when opening the barn. These bees can swarm and invade a old car, shed, barn etc without much notice. I have heard swarms of bees (don't know what kind) fly over and it sounded like a helicopter. I thought the raadiator was blowing up on my truck and the truck wasn't even running. I was startled by that. West Nile, killer bees, fireants, brown tree snakes, snake head fish, hydrilla, kudzu, what is next? All these pests, (animal or plant) get brought into here and we have more problems.
