Wheel disk question?

I have a good running Ford 5000 in the Cross-timbers area of Texas (N. central)and I need a bigger, heavier disk. I now have a 8' 3 pt. disk, and it's just not heavy enough for the soil here. I have to disk for days to get a good seed bed! How much drag or wheel disk can I use in these conditions? Tight soil - not sticky - with small stones.
